Europe coins
Many countries around Europe have now surrendered their original currency to be replaced with the Euro.
The Euro has been adopted in most of the major European countries including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands and even Ireland, but not mainland Great Britain.
European coins are comparatively cheap against American coins because the Europeans on the whole don't collect coins.
The Euro coins first came into use in 2002. Obverse designs are chosen nationally, while the reverse and the currency as a whole is managed by the European Central Bank.
